Often, some of the problems faced by our industry are so large and complex that no single company is able alone to tackle them efficiently. Therefore, to better safeguard the interests of firearms manufactures, it is necessary to combine efforts and concentrate actions on common objectives. IEACS is designed to be the Association of Associations and to address primarily the lack of coordination mechanisms between stakeholders and decision makers dealing with our issues, and secondly the lack of information, particularly as regards legislation. On the top of IEACS agenda is the coordination of the political action at European level, to be able to safeguard the diverse needs and interests of the firearms sector and to improve the political commitment in considering such needs in firearms-related policies and legislation.
